Wine Club SF started for one very simple reason:
I wanted more people to go to wine bars with.
San Francisco is full of incredible wine bars, hidden gems, and wine-focused events, but it's easy to fall into the habit of visiting the same places over and over again. Wine Club SF is our excuse to change that.
Every month we'll explore a different neighborhood, discover new wine bars, and build each meetup around a fun theme. Some events might be wine crawls, while others could be food pairings, tastings, game nights, live music, artist spotlights, or anything else that pairs well with a good glass of wine.
No wine expertise is required. You don't need to know the difference between Champagne and Crémant or be able to identify tasting notes. If you're curious, enjoy trying new places, and like meeting new people, you'll fit right in.
We recently kicked things off with our very first meetup, where the theme was Bubbles. We explored two San Francisco wine bars, shared a sparkling wine flight, played a few rounds of 86'd, and ended the evening making new friends. It was exactly the kind of night Wine Club SF was created for.
This is just the beginning.
